May was a packed month, Adventurers. Alongside several headline updates that each got their own deep-dive dev log, we shipped a long list of smaller fixes and quality-of-life improvements that make day-to-day play smoother. Here's everything that landed across May.
New & Improved
- Characters now animate per weapon, so the way you fight matches what you're actually wielding — read more.
- Charged abilities and a wave of combat-feel improvements give attacks more weight and clarity — read more.
- Environmental hazards arrived: swarms, poison clouds, and traps that change how you move through the world — read more.
- The character-select screen and equipment visuals got a major refresh so your hero looks the part — read more.
- A brand-new server backend lands under the hood for a faster, more reliable foundation — read more.
- New characters now start with 50 inventory slots, up from 35, giving you more room to gather and explore from your very first session.
Quality of Life
- Crafting with a full inventory now safely refuses the craft and keeps your ingredients, instead of dropping the finished item on the ground where it could be lost.
- Crafting failure messages now display clear, readable text so you always know why a craft didn't go through.
- Six cooked food and drink items now show their correct icons and their real stat bonuses instead of generic placeholder text — including Choripan (+10 Max Stamina, +2% stamina regen), Crab Stew (+10 to all stats), Honey Cake, Meat Empanada, Smoked Meat Platter, and the Energizing Tonic.
Bug Fixes
- Monster loot no longer lands floating in mid-air on trees, bushes, rocks, corpses, or cliffs — drops now reliably settle on real, reachable ground.
- NPC interaction buttons (Buy Goods / Sell Items / Talk) work correctly again on merchants and quest-givers such as Branoc and Delivan, after they had stopped responding for some players.
- Fixed missing or incorrect inventory icons for Rough Stone and Wheat Stalk.
- Abilities that can't be used now explain why in chat instead of failing silently, and arrows and projectiles now stop on walls instead of passing through — more on combat feedback.
- Numerous combat, gathering, and server stability fixes throughout the month.
Thank you, First Adventurers, for the reports and feedback that drive these updates. See you in the world.
