The first few months of 2024 were all about making the world feel real. We started with inventory improvements and stamina refinements, then dove straight into building the first true zone: Ciliora Island. Lush forests, rocky outcrops, sweeping meadows — every corner of the island was hand-crafted to feel alive and explorable.
We also built a complete sound system with independent controls for music, effects, and ambient audio. A time-based sound engine shifts the ambiance with the day/night cycle, so sunrise sounds different from midnight. Then came monster loot and item drops — every kill now has a chance to yield valuable items, and different monsters drop different gear. The thrill of the hunt became real.
On the visual side, we overhauled the character visual system so your armor and weapons appear on your character in real-time. A modular approach means every helmet, chest piece, and pair of boots is visible. We expanded head customization with more face shapes, and added realistic eye materials that bring characters to life. By May 2024, your character finally looked as epic as the adventures you were having.
This period was about depth — giving the world texture, sound, and substance. Ciliora Island became more than a zone; it became a place players could get lost in.
