A focused bug-bash on harvesting and looting. If you’ve been blaming the rocks for shaking your camera, that’s on us.
Earthquake bug & tree-climbing
Standing on irregular rock surfaces (especially limestone nodes) caused a violent shaking effect — a server/client collision mismatch made your character bounce off an invisible collider every frame. Also fixed: wedging against a tree’s bark to walk up the trunk like a staircase. Resource props now block cleanly with no shake.
Full-inventory gather fix
Walking up to a tree with a full bag and a sword equipped used to silently fail with a misleading “You need an axe to...” message. Now the game performs a direct hand-swap — your weapon moves into the tool’s slot, the tool moves into your hand, and the gather starts.
Mid-action tool swap
Swapping to a different weapon while gathering now correctly stops the action (instead of continuing with the wrong gear).
Multiplayer pickup VFX/sound
Looting monster drops in multiplayer used to be silent for everyone except the looter (and sometimes silent for them too). Now the pickup animation and sound play for every nearby player. In Random distribution mode, only the actual interactor plays the animation, but the receiver still gets the audio cue.
Generic pickup montage
The pickup animation now plays the same way regardless of what you’re holding — sword, bow, or empty. The old “unarmed safe” version occasionally produced a hitch when the engine swapped montages mid-pickup. Drop sparkle VFX have also been retuned for clarity.
Wheat / herb walkthrough
Crops (Wheat, Hemp, Flax, Cotton) and herb fields are interactable again — walk through them like foliage but still target individual crops to harvest. Lootable chests block your character correctly. Honey trunks, mineral nodes, and trees still block. NPC, lootable, and gathering-resource spawning fully restored on the live server.
